Stacking games

Create life-sized play worlds with Stapelstein® elements. When Originals are placed correctly on top of each other, a stable stack is created. If they are offset or placed with the rounded side on top of each other, a wobble tower is formed. With the Stapelstein® Inside elements, you can expand the stacking game freely according to your explorer's desire. Whether nesting or stacking, Inside fascinates both as a single set and in combination with Originals.

Sorting games

The different colors of the Stapelstein® Originals encourage sorting. For example, color sequences or patterns can be created in the stack or on the floor. To increase the difficulty, not only the color but also the orientation of the elements can play a role when sorting, such as whether they are upside down or on their side. For even more tricky sorting and play fun, the Inside elements provide additional challenges.

Hide and seek games

Various items can be hidden under the Stapelstein® Original or under Stapelstein® Inside to find or uncover them during the game. By connecting two Originals with the help of the waves, larger or multiple items can be hidden in this so-called wobble egg. Top tip: the Inside elements fit exactly into a Original wobble egg, and the individual elements can be discovered layer by layer, like a Matryoshka.

Balancing games

With Stapelstein® products, great balance paths can be built. Depending on whether the elements are on the top or bottom side, it is harder or easier to maintain balance. Especially the Inside elements, with their different sizes, add an extra fun factor to the balance game. Instead of their own body, a child can also balance a ball on the curved surface. The Stapelstein® Board expands the possibilities to playfully train balance.

Game Idea Balance Letters

Each child stands on a Stapelstein® Original. The game leader names a letter. The children then balance on one leg on the element and try to write the letter in the air with the other leg. How many letters can you manage? You can download the entire game idea and its variations as a PDF.

Spinning Games

Both the Stapelstein® Original and Inside and the Board can either be turned into a top or other things can be spun in them. The Stapelstein® Original and the Board work as a great giant top when they are placed on their side or on the round head side. On the head side, a child can also spin around by sitting in the hollow side and propelling themselves with their feet and hands.

Water Games

The Stapelstein® Original is waterproof and, due to its extremely light weight, has strong buoyancy in water. But beware: please use only in shallow water and under adult supervision. Stapelstein® elements are not swimming aids! By the way, both Originals and Inside elements can be stacked on water. The drum sounds are particularly unique when the element floats on the water surface.

For even more variety, try Stapelstein® Inside elements. Here, there is an even greater range of variety and different difficulty levels. Additionally, the Board can also be used as a kind of tennis racket.

Fantasy Games

The Stapelstein® elements are what the players make of them! This means each color can stand for something different. For example, blue could stand for the category animals, red for the number 5, and green for a movement – a somersault. These new meanings can be written on the different colors with chalk and washed off later if needed. With a bit of imagination, many exciting game tasks or funny stories can arise while playing.

Sound games

If you use the Stapelstein® elements as a drum, warm sounds resonate. The type of tones can be quite different. Drumming with fingertips, for example, sounds like drizzle. With the flat hand or fist, hard, strong tones are drummed, while stroking over the fine surface sounds like wind. Different surfaces and stacking height influence the sound. If the element is on water (in the bathtub or swimming pool), the sound becomes more intense when drumming. Try different objects for drumming.
