The Stapelstein® Board is suitable for active balance exercises and dynamic sitting, for adults as well as children. In combination with the Stapelstein® Original, the seat height can be individually adjusted and the level of difficulty in stacking play can be increased.
The raised edge provides additional support during challenging balance exercises – for children and adults with and without physical limitations. The Board can also be used at a desk.
As part of the Winter Specials 2026 and the Hidden Giants campaign, the Board comes in red with accents of the Color of the Year 2026 rose – like a fly agaric among brown leaves.
- Robust, waterproof, and easy to clean – supports up to 120 kg
- For balance exercises, dynamic sitting, and as a stacking element
For more movement, play, and imagination in children's everyday lives.

Grow beyond what you see.
Hidden Giants
The greatest strength grows in secret.
The fly agaric in the moss is only a brief moment of visibility. Beneath it grows the mycelium, the hidden network of fungi: fine threads that connect trees and support an entire forest. It is older, larger, and stronger than anything we see above the ground.
A hidden giant.
Children still see this world. They kneel down without hesitation. We adults have often lost this perspective. Hidden Giants invites us to find it again.
Giants come home
Home becomes a clearing.
Children bring the forest home with them. The hallway becomes a forest path, the living room a clearing. The Originals become stepping stones across the moss, the Board becomes the next hill.
And at some point, everyone is sitting on the floor, at eye level. No one planned this moment. It simply grew.
Board and Original in red and rose and special violet are two limited editions from the Hidden Giants Collection, available only this season.

Was not sure it was worth the hype but it’s soo light and fun. With my daughter we love coming up with ideas for it, be it balancing, a seat, spinning, rotating her cow, a hat, a launching platform; would recommend

We recommend Stapelstein® elements for children aged one year and up.
We want Stapelstein® to accompany you not just for a few weeks, but for many years. We promise you that Stapelstein® products, when played with and used safely and responsibly, will provide more movement in your everyday life for many years.
That always depends on the child's age and the intended use. However, we recommend the Original rainbow as a starter for home. The six colorful Stapelstein® Originals already offer you a wide variety of play options. Another ideal starter set is Stapelstein® Inside rainbow with six elements in different sizes and colors. The Stapelstein® Board can be purchased as an addition or in the Set with Originals. The Board creates even more great possibilities, such as an ergonomic stool for the desk or for especially challenging balance courses.
We produce with the highest quality and guarantee safety for people, the environment, and the climate. 400,000 families worldwide are satisfied with our products. If you're unsure, simply try Stapelstein risk-free for 30 days. We are confident that our elements will convince you.
The feedback from our customers and our own experience are the same: Stapelstein is by far the toy that gets played with the most. Just ask around among your friends and acquaintances and see for yourself.
