Material smell

After unpacking, a slight, completely harmless smell may be noticeable. If the smell is found to be bothersome, we recommend airing out the Stapelstein® Mat in a well-ventilated area until the smell dissipates.

Cleaning

Keep your mat clean by wiping it with a damp cloth and mild detergent after training or playing. Regularly vacuum it to remove dirt. Make sure it is completely dry before rolling it up or reusing it.

We recommend stacking a maximum of 3 elements for climbing. All Stapelstein® products are waterproof but do not serve as swimming aids. Small children must be supervised when playing in the water.

Pointed objects like scissors, stones, knives, nails, wire, or teeth can leave permanent marks on the elements. Severe damage can impair stability.

The Stapelstein® Mat is perfect for creative, active play and allows children to play freely on it. Parents should be especially attentive with small children and keep an eye on them. The Stapelstein® Mat offers a shock-absorbing function but is not suitable as protection from jumps from great heights.

For yoga, pilates, and fitness exercises

Use the Stapelstein® Mat only on a flat and clean floor to ensure a secure grip during your exercises. Note that the surface can become slippery during sweaty activities.

Avoid using or leaving heavy, sharp, or pointed objects on the Stapelstein® Mat for extended periods, as this could lead to permanent impressions or damage that may compromise safety.
